or possibly a sticker somewhere under the hood or engine compartment showing the routing on the pullies...?..

I would also want to figure our why the belt failed ?

Usually because of something like a component seizing up and
burning the belt. While the belt is off, see if you can hand turn every pulley. If it was just a tensioner pully bearing that
failed and fell off?, then you know the path to take.
