| Message: | All works great...got my playlists labeled correctly, track #'s show up. Shut the engine off and it comes back to cdc #7 just like it should. Installation was seamless. Problem is: NO FREAKIN' SOUND! I got the $179 kit (less discount) and installation manual from my dealer. On page 15 or so it tells you to run the DSP coax cable from the adapter box to the DSP amp. There is no connection back there. I even physically removed the amp from the trunk firewall to see if there were any connectors that would take the coax cable. Nothing. So I went to my dealer and met up with the best Z4 tech they have. Showed him the illustration (terrible installation instruction btw) and we went hunting for what was shown. Nothing even close. He was stumped and so am I. BMW NA doesn't have technical assistance through their customer service, which sucks. I now understand that retrofit coding may be required. This will enable the system to play the audio from the iPod. Anyone else have this problem?
