Parrot Bluetooth car kit for E39 (1126 views) (2611 thread views) 
Message: Hi all,
I have an 01 BMW 540iA with Nav (prod 10/00). I was trying to find folks that have installed the Parrot 3000, 3100 or the 3200 units in their cars (I have not decided on which one I'll go with). My installer is telling me that the wire running from the display to the back of the radio may be a little visible (I guess the part visible would be a wire that would go from the unit and under the dash). For those that have installed this unit, did you have any problems concealing the wires? Any other issues with the install that is unique to our cars?

Also, I was wondering about the quality of these units. Any feedback and/or pics would be great. Has anyone connected the mic with the Parrot unit to the mic slot next to the moon roof switch?
