It is a BMW TV module that allows you to watch TV. (2601 views) 
Message: NAV-TV and TVonNAV have harnesses and whole kits that allow you to watch TV while in motion (BMW TV modules in the US does not allow this as it blocks the TV signal over 3 mph with a warning screen)and also to add the TV module to your current configuration with also audio and video inputs.
You can hook up a DVD changer, Playstation, and a backup camera if you like. I have the OEM TV setup (which I bought the antenna and TV amplifiers from Pacific BMW) which I installed myself and later got the TVonNav adapters and added a DVD changer which I and family enjoy!
